Smooch coffee stand is a Californian concept born in the middle of the 70s, hippie era. The one in Sapporo also retains the same vibe, playing 70s music, and it has adopted a stylish and hippie interior. Situated next to Nakajimakoen, it's a relaxing experience to sit at the counter by the large windows with a comforting hot cup of coffee and a large monster cookie and just watch the world go by. Smooch also makes great ice coffee, flavourful and not watered down.

People watching over a cuppa at Smooch

The cafe was a surprise find one evening on my way to dinner. The sky blue exterior and large windows just look too pretty not to check it out!
Smooch is a Californian concept that specialises in coffee and monster cookies.
I got a seat at the bar counter, a great spot to people-watch.
The cafe also has a display sheld with trendy trinkets and accessories.
Smooch helps to feature some local designers.
Cappucino and Oatmeal raisin monster cookie was my choice that day.
Stylish, hipster interior of Smooch.
Coffee and winter are the best combination.
I sat there watching the day turn to night, watching the people of Sapporo pass me by.
